Once again we traveled up to Utah, this time for Pa-Ta's funeral on Thursday. It went very nicely, from the viewing to the the service to the graveside to the luncheon after everything. At the cemetery, there were these old veterans who did the flag salute and 21 gun shots because Pa-Ta was in the air force. That was pretty neat. The funeral was a little sad but most of the family was relieved that Pa-Ta is free from his suffering.Grandsons carrying casket

On Saturday that weekend, me, Taylor, Mark/my dad, Uncle Adam, Matthew and Zack hiked Angel's Landing in Zion. I was freaking out because I knew there were going to be major heights involved, especially going along this spine part holding on to a chain over a 2000 feet drop to the peak. But you know what, it actually wasn't that bad at all and we had a great time!
Me and Taylor on a freaky part along the spine: huge drop on either side of us!
All of us but Dad before the sketchy part with the chains going to the 2nd peak (that part is right behind us, yep, the "path" where those bushes are going)
The part of the hike called "Walter's Wiggle" which consists of lots of switchbacks
A very cool shot of Dad at the peak
