Soccer and the Sabbath Day

Taylor had a really fun soccer season and his team ended the season with a 5-4 record. But when it came to the end of season tournament -- they were on fire!! In the first game of the tournament Taylor scored his first goal of the season, kicking it up and over the goalie. Unfortunately this year the schedulers put the second half of the tournament on a Sunday --- sigh -- and Taylor was unable to play. Fortunately, his team ended up winning the final match in a double overtime, penalty kick shootout!!! And no one on the team gave him any grief for not playing either. Taylor was sorry to miss that final match -- but ecstatic his team won even without him there to help. Gold medals all around!
