May 3rd was Taylor's 13th birthday!!!! On Saturday he went and got some vans shoes as his present from Mom and Dad, and on Sunday we celebrated his birthday with bratwurst and hamburgers for dinner and yellow cake with chocolate frosting for dessert, of course. As you can tell by the picture below, he is pretty psyched out about turning 13. However, this means he is officially a teen now,..... scary.... well, at least he isn't in seminary yet!
And yes, as demonstrated by the photo taken of me at the DMV, I GOT MY DRIVER'S PERMIT!!! It was only 2 days after I turned 15 and a half, too, so it was great timing! I have my first 2 hour driver training on Wednesday right after school, and then I will be driving, though it may be supervised! So watch out, I will soon be on the road!
Also, my track and field season ended on Thursday with our last dual meet. I ran the mile (FINALLY instead of the 2 mile) and did really well with achieving 5:59 for my time- and I haven't run a timed mile for around 8 months!
I took my AP European History exam yesterday too, which was pretty intense. I think I did okay though. As school winds down for everyone, hopefully our busily scheduled lives will too.
